He was the founder and #chairman_of_United_Commercial_Bank_Ltd and #Aramit_Group. He served as the president of #Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He was the chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Textiles and Jute.
